Cat Café Therapy in Chiang Mai (SuThep District) – A Purr-fect Pause for Animal Lovers 🐾

If you're an animal lover—especially a cat person—then this spot in Chiang Mai is an absolute must-visit. We’ve been missing our dog like crazy while travelling full-time, so spending an hour surrounded by fluffy, purring cats felt like pure therapy… without the long-term commitment! 😅

Honestly, if you're a travelling family like us, you might totally relate—sometimes you just need a cuddle. And what better way to get that fuzzy fix than in a cozy cat café close to where you are staying?

The Experience 🐱☕

As soon as you arrive, the girls that work at the café kindly ask you to take off your shoes, pop them in a locker, and wash your hands (gotta keep those paws clean!). Then, you’re in!

You’re welcome to bring your drink into the cat area, and from there—it’s pure cat heaven. Lie down, sit cross-legged, roll around if you must… you’ll be surrounded by cats napping, stretching, and sometimes chasing toys. They even provide cat toys so you can play with them. Most of the cats get along well, though a few had a bit of attitude—luckily, the café has a “time out” room for the grumpy ones. 😂

Tilly’s Favourite Moment 🐾

Our daughter Tilly is a huge cat fan, so this was easily one of her favourite stops on our trip so far. She fell in love with one particularly quirky kitty—the fluffy one that constantly sticks its tongue out. It was love at first meow! 😝

What It Costs 💸

Prices start at just 250 Baht (£5.60) per person for an hour, and that includes a drink. You can stay longer for an extra fee, and trust me—once you're in and surrounded by snoozy cats, you won’t want to leave.

Final Thoughts 💡

Whether you're a full-time traveller craving a cuddle or just a curious visitor looking for something fun and different in Chiang Mai, this cat café is 100% worth a stop. It's cozy, affordable, and downright adorable. Don’t be surprised if you leave feeling a little lighter—and covered in cat hair. I would not recommend if you have allergies (for obvious reasons).
