El Salvador
El Salvador is where we found balance: city buzz, mountain escapes, surf-friendly beaches, and genuinely kind people. Traveling as a family, it’s also been the safest country we’ve visited so far—a destination that proves first impressions can be wrong. El Salvador is an underrated gem for families.
🌊 La Libertad & La Flores
La Libertad gave us surf, sunsets, and simple joys as a family. From camping on Flores Beach to catching waves together, it felt like freedom at its best. And our unexpected friend Marco, the stray dog who joined our adventures, made this El Salvador stop truly unforgettable.
🏄♀️ El Zonte
El Zonte on El Salvador’s Pacific coast gave us the perfect mix of surf, sunshine, and family fun. With waves for beginners and adrenaline seekers alike, we spent our days surfing, relaxing on the black sand beaches, and soaking up the laid-back surf culture together.
🌿 Tamanique Waterfalls
At Tamanique Waterfalls in El Salvador, we embraced adventure as a family. From free jumping into cool pools to hiking through lush jungle trails, this was about pushing limits, bonding, and laughing together. It was one of those challenges that turned into one of our most epic travel memories.
